Sesame Chicken

This recipe was a quick and easy make for me! I made it for the family on Tuesday night to celebrate the sale of our first FAMILY home. I prepped everything separately. The chicken can be boiled in water and then shredded, which will help it to retain its juices. The rice and quinoa was simply prepped according to the directions on the package. Finally, the broccoli was steamed in the steamer basket with the steam setting on our microwave. Easy peasy, right? Then it’s just a matter of making the sauce. Combine all ingredients in the sauce pan and heat until warm. I personally took out 2 green of broccoli, 2 red of chicken, and 1 yellow of rice/quinoa before drizzling the sauce on top. It made 2 meals for me. Little man indulged in the chicken, and while he gobbled it ALL up, he wasn’t a fan of quinoa. The big man LOVED the chicken and ate everything else happily… Almost to the point of explosion!!! Don’t believe me?? ASK HIM! He declared it delicious!
